Pasadena, California
RAAM Construction completed the rehabilitation of six historic Tudor-style cottages in a traditional bungalow court layout into six one-bedroom/one-bathroom for-sale condominium units at Haskett Court, one of the finest remaining examples of a 1920s bungalow court in Pasadena.
Aimed at low- and moderate-income renters, the community offers private patios and outdoor space and is within walking distance to the shops and dining along South Lake Avenue. Homeowners at Haskett Court qualify for Mill’s Act property tax savings.
Haskett Court is an example on a small scale of the work of Charles E. Ruhe, an architect who was known for his work on larger, more expensive residences in Pasadena’s best neighborhoods.
The project has received several awards, including the 2010 City of Pasadena Historic Preservation Award, the Designated City of Pasadena Historic Landmark, and a listing on the National Register of Historic Places.
