Richard Lara

Co-Founder & Chief Construction Officer

Richard Lara has over 25 years of construction industry management spans residential, commercial, and hotel projects primarily in Southern California and extending from Hawaii to the Midwest.

His philosophy is that strong communities are built by people who share their knowledge and experience with others, and who care deeply about creating quality environments for living, working, and relaxing. His special interest in multi-unit projects has resulted in increased quality housing opportunities for seniors and low-income families.

Lisa Lara

Co-Founder & Chief Revenue Officer

Lisa oversees accounting, contracting, insurance requirements, and compliance programs.

Prior to serving as Chief Executive Officer, she held financial analyst positions with several major institutions, including the FDIC (Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation), Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC), and City National Bank.

During her career, Lisa has specialized in commercial and multifamily asset finance, loan marketing to Wall Street firms, the marketing of bank-owned real estate, and secondary mortgage sales.

Richard Lara Jr.

Richard Lara Jr.

Director of Development & Operations

Richard Lara Jr. is the Director of Development & Operations at RAAM Construction. With a B.S. in Civil Engineering from University of Southern California and over five years of industry experience, Richard plays a critical role in driving RAAM’s pre-construction efforts and ensuring a seamless transition into construction while maintaining project goals, budgets, and timelines. Having grown up around construction, he brings a strong technical foundation and practical field experience that have been instrumental in strengthening RAAM’s pre-construction, project management, safety, and closeout processes. Serving as the central point of communication between pre-construction, development, and close-out, Richard is known for his ability to align all stakeholders, maintain project continuity, and deliver results across every phase of the construction lifecycle.

Chris Schultz

Executive Vice President

Chris, Executive Vice President of RAAM Construction, brings decades of experience across a wide range of leadership positions in the construction industry. Before being named Vice President in 2023, he served as an Assistant Superintendent, Project Engineer, Director of Safety, and Senior Project Manager—roles that have given him a comprehensive understanding of the construction process and shaped his collaborative, “Team” approach to leadership. Known for leading with integrity and precision throughout the entire construction lifecycle, Chris has built a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects ahead of schedule and within budget, earning the trust of his teammates and fostering long-term relationships with key clients across the market-rate, affordable, historic, senior, and permanent supportive housing sectors.

Arturo Sanchez

Vice President, Field Operations

Arturo Sanchez is the Vice President of Field Operations at RAAM Construction. With over 15 years of experience in the construction industry, Arturo has proven to be a highly dependable leader and an integral part of RAAM’s operations. Known for his precision, attention to detail, and deep expertise in building codes and accessibility requirements, he ensures every project is delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with all regulatory standards. Arturo’s strong leadership and field management skills allow him to effectively coordinate various trades teams, foster collaboration, and maintain high productivity on site. With a proactive mindset and exceptional problem-solving abilities, he consistently anticipates challenges and implements strategic solutions that keep projects ahead of schedule and running efficiently.

The RAAM team provides realistic budget estimates that work within each project’s specific goals.

Forecasting & Scheduling

Our team develops and maintains detailed schedules and forecasts to ensure all projects are delivered on time. Our senior scheduler is a seasoned professional whose prior work experience includes serving major entities such as The Walt Disney Company.

Design Collaboration

RAAM collaborates closely with owners, designers, and all other project partners to identify and address design-related issues quickly and effectively.

Specialty Trades

As a general contractor, we deliver a wide range of specialty trades including structural concrete, framing, masonry, interior finishes, drywall, sheet metal, painting, flooring, and M.E.P.
